Directed the development and implementation of a community-based Adult Neurological Communication Disorders Clinic for research and clinical practice in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Consultant to Cyberkinetics of Providence, Rhode Island (May, 2003) regarding needs of patients with severely impaired communication skills that utilize assistive technologies.

Functioned as an expert witness for cases of alleged negligence in the treatment of patients with dysphagia.

Participating in a project with the Department of Elderly Affairs (Rhode Island) to examine the training needs of caregivers working people with swallowing disorders attending Adult Day Care Facilities. In process of creating a program that will be funded by DEA to provide training to facilities starting in Spring, 2004.
